Continuing Education Credit Information

The New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NJSHA) is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language–Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.  

ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures. Please refer to individual course offerings for specific CEU’s.  

The New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association is registered as a professional provider with the New Jersey Department of Education. (Professional Development Provider #320)

Annual Convention CEU:

  • This program is offered for up to 1.9 CEU’s (Various levels, Professional Area.). 

  • In addition if you visit the exhibits you can earn .1 CEU, which can only be used for state credit (not ASHA).

ASHA CE REGISTRY
An Annual ASHA CE Registry fee is required to register ASHA CEU’s. CE registry fees are paid by the participant directly to the ASHA National Office. The annual CE registry fee allows registration of an unlimited number of CEU’s for the calendar year. AMERICAN ACADEMY OF AUDIOLOGY (AAA)
NJSHA is approved by the American Academy of Audiology to offer Academy CEU’s for this activity. The program is worth a maximum of 2.0 CEU’s. Academy approval of this continuing education activity does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR HEARING INSTRUMENT STUDIES (IIHIS)
Individual programs have been submitted for IIHIS approval.  IIHIS is the educational division of IHS.
