WELCOME!

Welcome, NJSHA members, to your on-line journal! As we begin this wonderful new high-tech adventure, I ask for your support in making this endeavor a valuable member benefit (and I also ask for your patience while we revise and refine our format). While the members of the Editorial Board are thrilled to be launching this journal, it is up to all of you who are reading this message to contribute to it and, thus, keep it going and growing! The first two "articles" that we have published represent two totally different types of submissions, to give you an idea of the range of potential topics/formats. The first one is in the form of a directly-applicable checklist for use by Speech-Language Specialists working in and around the classroom, perhaps to be used as part of your mandated "functional" assessment for determining eligibility for services. The other article is a research-based comparison study of client vs. clinician perceptions of various aspects of the intervention process. Read them, enjoy them, and let them generate ideas for you to develop and write about (and, then, submit for publication!). The NJSHA Online Journal is counting on you!!!
