Attendee Registration & Experience

What is included in the registration package?

Your Attendee registration includes:

  • Sessions & Learning: Full access to all sessions and your opportunity to earn ASHA, IHS and AAA Continuing education credits as provided by the event.
  • Exhibit Hall: Entry to the hall featuring more than 40 exhibitors.
  • Food & Drink:
    • Thursday: continental breakfast,
    • Friday member-only breakfast
    • Daily refreshment breaks from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
    • Please note: Lunch is on your own
  • All-Day Networking Opportunities: Connect and collaborate with peers throughout the day.


Is there walk-in registration?
Yes, we can accommodate walk-ins for the Convention on both days. Registration rates increase for walk-ins.

Can I pay my registration with a check?
Yes, when you register online, you will receive an invoice. Please print that invoice and mail in your check to NJSHA, 312 North Avenue East, Suite 5, Cranford, NJ 07016 

I am paying with a PO, am I able to register online or do I need to mail my registration in?
NEW this year, we are offering online registration for attendees that would like to pay by PO. CLICK HERE to register. You will have the option to upload your PO in the registration form, email your PO to [email protected], or Mail it to our new address: NJSHA, 312 N Avenue, Unit 5, Cranford, NJ 07016

My co-workers and I would like to register together as a group, is there a special for that we need to use?

Can I cancel my registration?
Refunds must be requested 5 days prior to the event in writing or by email. After that, credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations. No-shows will not result in credit for a future event.

Can I attend sessions other than those I selected during registration?
Yes. Your session selections were used only to help us assign rooms based on anticipated attendance and seating needs. You may attend different sessions at the convention.

Where and when can I pick up my attendee badge?
Convention registration starts at 7:00 am on Thursday, April 15.

Will session handouts be available digitally and should I download them in advance?
Yes. Handouts submitted by presenters will be available on the convention webpage before the event. We strongly recommend downloading or printing them before arriving.

Is there a dress code for the Convention?
The standard dress code is business casual, however, because convention halls require extensive walking and fluctuate in temperature, we strongly suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing layered clothing such as sweaters or light jackets.

How do I download the event APP, and can I download it in advance?
Yes, you can download the app in advance beginning in April 2027. In the Apple Store or Google Play Store, search for MC Member App, click on Get. Download the app to your phone. Enter the code njsha. You can log in to the app from there. 

Since Lunch is on my own, are there any restaurants onsite or nearby?
The hotel has several onsite dining options or there are a variety of restaurants all along Route 1 in Iselin.

Continuing Education (CE) & Tracking

How do I earn and report my ASHA, AAA, and IHS CEUs?
Attendee must record their attendance using one of three methods: the link in the mobile app, the QR code provided at each session, or the link in the post-convention survey. CE reporting must be completed by April 30, 2027.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the Convention?
Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion 2-4 weeks after the completion of the Convention.

Hotel Accommodations/Logistics

Do I need a code to register for the room block?
Yes, you need to let them know you are with NJSHA. You can call APA Hotel at 407-992-2511 and use booking code NH427 or you can book online HERE

I would like to arrive early for the event. Can I get the same room rate?
Please contact the hotel if you wish to make reservations outside of April 14-16.

Where is the best place to park, and is parking free or paid?
APA Hotel has plenty of free onsite parking at the front and rear of the hotel

Is public transportation available nearby?
The APA Hotel is less than one mile from the Metropark train station in Iselin. It’s about a 5-minute ride via Uber or Lyft.

Where can I store luggage, coats or bags?
The hotel can assist with luggage storage. Coat racks will be available.

Is there free Wi-Fi available for attendees?
Yes, the hotel has free Wi-Fi

Sponsors/Exhibitors

I would like to be a sponsor or exhibitor, what do you need?

I am a Sponsor/Exhibitor. Do I need to register?
Your sponsorship/exhibitor package includes representative passes.
Please register the specific person(s) who will be using these passes at this year's Convention.

What format do you need for my logo?
Please send us both a JPEG and EPS.

When is payment due?
Payment in full is due no later than April 7, 2027.

When do I select my booth location?
Booth locations are determined based on your sponsorship level, as well as the order in which your sponsorship was received.  You will receive notification of where your booth is located 2 weeks prior to the Convention.

Exhibit Hall

When can I set up my booth?
Setup is Wednesday, April 14 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All exhibits MUST be in place by 4:00 pm.

Can I ship my booth or materials before conference begins?
The APA Hotel can receive your items, but no more than 3 days in advance. Plan to have your items arrive no earlier than Monday, April 12.

When can I begin to dismantle my booth?
Exhibitors may dismantle their booths on Friday, April 16th between 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Can I dismantle my booth early?
We would like you to stay throughout our entire convention that ends on Friday, April 16th. Exhibitors who dismantle early will incur a $300 fee.

Is there WIFI in the exhibit Hall?
Yes. There is complimentary WIFI throughout the hotel.

How can I order electricity for my booth?
During the registration process, you will specify that you need electricity. There is a $100 charge for this service. If you have already reserved your booth and did not request electricity, please contact us at [email protected] and we will order it and send you an invoice.
