CEU opportunities are available in the form of webinars, half day, full day and multi day programs.

NJSHA’s annual Convention is the largest professional event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists and speech-language pathology and audiology students in New Jersey. Members receive significantly discounted registration.

Legislation and Advocacy

NJSHA advocates for speech-language-pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists at the state and national level. NJSHA’s lobbyist provides regular and ongoing oversite of upcoming legislation, policy and issues that have, or could have, a significant impact on our professions and stakeholders. NJSHA members have testified at the Capitol in Trenton and have served as subject matter experts for New Jersey legislators and policy makers involved with legislation/regulations affecting SLPs and audiologists.

The annual Legislative Day promotes awareness and visibility of speech and hearing-related issues and provides an opportunity for first hand interaction with legislators.

NJSHA actively supports legislative and advocacy efforts related to our professions to ensure the concerns of our professionals and those we serve are addressed appropriately.

There are a multitude of volunteer opportunities to suit your schedule and interests.
